| Water was calm early in the afternoon and never really got much worse, didnt bring any bait, was hoping to catch some in the surf, but didnt find any. So i figured i bring out my gulp and toss it around a while. I managed to catch a small whiting and figured it be perfect for bait. Cut him up and threw it out, i was dropping it out just past the second sand bar and caught a 16 inch spanish, and a 33 inch black tip. Water was fairly clear and no seaweed was present other than just some broken up old pieces. Also. I saw quite a few jellyfish and saw one get eatten by a sea turtle. Was pretty cool. |

Thanks, I bet that was fun watching that turtle get the jelly. Shrimp and fish bites are hard to beat this time of year. Great to see the Spanish mackerel still around. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |
