roys will do it if you want to pay for it. a lot of people might say to fix it yourself. you can purchase parts at roys as well.

The Reel Shop on Tuloso rd. John Chaney 361-241-5126. He has been doing mine and is very reasonable. He had throat cancer and speaks with a vibrator so pay close attention if you talk to him on the phone. He charges 15 bucks to clean a reel and if it needs parts he only charges you the cost of the parts plus cleaning.... Adios

Yep, Skipper has it right. John Chaney is the man for reel cleaning, great work an quick turnaround time. I have been using him for years.............cC

John Chaney is the reel guy his address is 1854 Tuloso rd the garage is usually open all day

I believe the new shop on the Island, Texas Bait and Tackle does repairs. I know that they do reel cleaning based on their Facebook posts but not certain on repairs.

There is also Billmore Hardware in Port A, guy was very informative when I went last time.
