This is BobBobber's last post. We are moving from Rockport to Lake Conroe. Recent health care issues require hooking up with pulmonologist and cardiologist physicians, needs which cannot be met in CC area. Our primary doctor advised that we need to move away from CC, perhaps to San Antonio or Houston areas to get the health care we need.

We chose Lake Conroe north of Houston, where we will have our boat docked at the foot of our property. Fishing has always, and will always be, our major recreation, so we need to live where we can have fun with fishing. Whether it's fresh or saltwater, as long as we're fishing . . . and catching, we're at peace with the world.

Nearly four years ago, we moved to the CC area from Michigan to enjoy warmer weather in winters and new fishing experiences. While I have fished from Maine to Alaska from Florida to California, and most States in between, I had never devoted time fishing the Gulf Coast. We moved, changed our residency to Texas and never looked back.

The Gulf Coast is a wonderful place to live. Ya'll know what natural resources we enjoy here, which embrace all of us who are frequent visitors to Tyler's website.

We have enjoyed and participated in a diverse mix of activities and events. Definitely, most Texans we have met are warm, courteous and friendly folks.

Through Tyler's forum, by exchanging PMs, we have met and fished with several anglers. We have fished on many weekends with Chad and Jill, whom we met through the forum. That bond of friendship came about only as a result of exchanging PMs with Chad before we began fishing together.

My parting wish for Tyler's congregation of anglers would be to embrace your common bond with other forum members, welcome their individual contributions and share your own. Plus, my wish for you is to meet-and-greet members and really go fishing together.

I'll sign off by sharing a few of the highlights of our Gulf Coast angling experiences . . . or at least those when we had a camera with us.
