Fishing was good at night under the lights last Saturday. Slow daytime bite behind the full moon but we did pick up two really nice flounder 4.5 & 5.5 pounds. Tides were high and the water was off color but improved through the weekend. Found an unwelcome bee hive under the porch deck that we need to move soon.

2 quick cures for those bees
1 - soapy water in a bucket, just splash on the hive
2 - seven dust powder, probably tough in the wind but both best done at night when they are all on the hive
that soapy water will drop them quick |

| They were none-aggressive all weekend. Would love to move them but I can't see myself in a boat with mad bees, even with a bee suit on. |

Great catch. Do not kill the bees. I believe it may be illegal anyway. You may have to hire somebody to evict them and that might be expensive. Parks and wildlife may have some suggestions. _________________ "If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you gaff it and throw it on ice."

Heckuva catch there Charlie and family, like always. Hope you get that bee situation resolved. _________________ Protect Padre at all costs for future generations to use and enjoy and never forget our freedoms aren't free.

| We moved the bees last Wednesday night. They are in a new hive at the farm in Rockport. Set them up in an oak mott next to our blackberry patch. It took a few days for them to settle in to a new location but they look to be doing fine. Turns out they were real ease to handle and the boat ride went off without any problems. Only got one sting on the finger through the gloves when we were pulling them off the roof. Charlie |

That's just too cool. The fish pics are great but the bee story is awesome. Glad you saved them. Honey bees are having a hard time these days. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
