We stayed inside of 9 miles the entire day , the Spanish mac's have the dusky anchovies balling up every where . My better half and I worked one large bait ball for over 2 hours she was throwing a spec rig and i was working a large rattle trap . This particular bait ball had a couple of black tips working it as well ,thought i had one of the black tips for a second only to reel in 1/2 a smack. The action was non stop for 2 hours. At another bait ball same thing but this one had a 1/2 dozen ling working it , these fish were so full of bait they quit eating . I had ling 10 feet off my rod tip and they wouldn't eat anything not fresh squid ,ribbon fish ,mullet ,cut bait threw every lure in the box at um and no takers. Started trolling for kings and couldn't find one to save my butt. So off to the new inshore reef to finish off the day we boxed 4 red snapper and 1 lane snapper and called it a day . 19 spanish macks 4 red snapper and 1 lane snapper and one hell of a lot of fun, even got rained on which felt great.

those smakerals make awsum grilled tacos on corn torts w/cabbage, cilantro, lime and verde salsa.
dust the filets w/ dry ranch, garlic powder & comino...then spray w/any PAM type stuff. grill over charcoal... Very Happy
quick fry the corn tortillas in a little oil to soften and heat...


cold Mx beer of choice... Very Happy
