Bob Hall Pier, Packery, Port A, Offshore, PINS etc. Got lots of reports that need updating.
I do know the water is high in the bay and Slowride is getting reds blindcasting topwaters in AP. Black drum are cruising the flats too! _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

There are a bunch of bull reds at the Mansfield cut. Probably all along the beach too. Mullet run is in full swing. I rarely jetty it but it was pretty rough in the surf today so I tried rock hopping for a change.
I screwed up on one trying to lift it over the rocks. I may be old but I'm stupid. Got a call in to Nick for a replacement. My fault not the rod. That rod has served me more than well for many years.
How about a turtle pic shot from a drone

Got a charter offshore for Saturday, so will post up a report if we go.
As of a week ago, there were huge balls of rain minnows everywhere within 3-5 miles off the beach with lots of smacks tearing through them. Kings were at the furthest state-water rigs...mixed in with some of the biggest smacks I've ever seen. Ling were around almost all the wells, in small groups of 2-3 but very skittish. State water snapper has been consistent, with most fish in the 18-20" range.
If the cleaner water has moved back in, it should be on until we get a decent front through. _________________ I'd rather be fishing |

Beach driving is a 9 out of 10, from Bob Hall to the north sticks. TONS of terns at the waters edge, but not much working the surf. Clean water at the 4th bar, did not see anyone "catching" in the dirty surf in the wade gut to the third bar. LOTS of sargassum still washing in. Way late in the year for that much weed.
Beachcombing from Bob Hall to the Bowl is great!

| Was on Mustang about a week ago and the weed made it unfishable. But midweek coming up looks to be the best in a long time. Lots of fresh water coming down so fish some drains, surf might just be perfect with mullet migration and only dead weed. No moon coming up so early AM is looking good but have not checked tide charts. Going to try it midweek hell or high water. |

Packery park by the bridgreat is holding onto a lot of slot reds. They have been killing them for a week or two consistently. Packery jetties is hit or miss with slots and bulls. Lots of minnows betting blasted by smacks and what not. _________________
