R'n'R, I bought Belgian Humpback Light 12 in 98... gun is as old as me Laughing
serial # places it mid '50's...beautiful firearm....
love it, but it shoots high for me....
when I start back w/a double gun, it will be a straight-stock, double trigger splinter-fore-end SXS, probably in 28ga.
don't care for o/u's
see ya in a few days Very Happy
I know where that oak tree is....

Mines 2 years older that me. Made in 1947. Actually, you are right about 1 thing. I may be shooting my SxS this year. I am planning on getting a quail lease in Brady this year and I only shoot quail with my SxS. Forgot that I need to practice with it. Not much on 28ga. I would shoot 28ga, but the shells are too damn high and I'm cheap. Usually shoot 20ga, but the SxS is 12ga. Will probably load 7/8 12ga AA's this year.

Glad you found a quail lease. Everything here that I've found is tied up in year round leases.

Dove are looking good this year. Weekend rains will probably have them scattered by Monday. Evil or Very Mad

Howdy!

If you need help reducing that over abundance of white-wings, I'd be happy to help and provide the Lone Star (liked that antique rod a lot btw). Very Happy

The public areas South of San Antonio haven't been very productive for me, but it beats nothing.

Mr Wilson will put you on the birds...
he does scouting and doesn't sell shot-out/barren places...
local guy and stand-up outfitter.
