Well lately with the tides still being SUPER low before today's high tide due to the disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico, floundering has been tough. The trick is to try and find a pattern to the flatties. Study the tide, wind direction, moon, and wind speed and try to put a plan Into action. Ask yourself which islands will provide protection from this wind direction, what is the tide doin? Is it coming in or goin out ?? If you can put the pieces of the puzzle together and put a plan into action you will raise your success margin up greatly. Good luck out there to my fellow flounder buddies

1 short of my commercial limit

Nice Haul!!! Good for you, as a commercial guy.

But the question begs.

You spent enough time and effort to bag 29 fish, why not round it out for a full limit? It's not like you weren't "on them"!!! Very Happy Very Happy

It was a tough nite.

1). I slept thru my alarm clock and didn't launch my boat till 0300.
2). Fishin was tough with the tide so low.
3.). The sun came up and I ran out of giggin time.
