With the weather moving in, and the water coming up, I fully expect this vehicle to be taken to Davey Jones locker today.

Came across it at Access Rd. 3 yesterday, and it was the lone soul out there. The tide was up some, but not yet to the dunes (like I suspect it will be today).

I'm no certified mechanic, but I'm fairly certain it ain't supposed to look like this:

This one almost qualifies for a "Best Caption" contest.

Au revoir 'red car', Au revoir.

I sure hope
1. it gets towed out of there
2. its gas tank is not full

There is a nice hefty fine for that, I believe it comes from the EPA.

The car has either been stolen & abandoned or just abandoned. If the authorities knew it was there it would probably get towed before it became a permanent part of the beach.

Far better than a Brazilian Waxing!!! Shocked

I thought it was also an abandoned vehicle / stolen, but what got me was the steering wheel was completely detached from the column. Clearly it wasn't like that as they drove to the beach!?!?! And if it wasn't, why do that damage if you are going to abandon it???

Guess I don't think like a thief....

Seems the evening wasn't too kind to 'Red Car', as the tides came up and washed to the dunes.

It didn't sink as much into the sand as I figured.

If anyone out there is looking for a vehicle, PM me and I know of one you can get cheap!!! Plus my nominal Finders Fee, of course. Laughing

Being not all that familiar with the coast weather and tides someone please tell me the cause of the water "coming up" beyond normal.
