Just wanting an update. Spent the weekend with the in-laws eating homemade carne guisada and rice. School starts on the 27th and I know I'll want to hit the water a couple times this next week before then.

I seen a king come up the other day. Caught on live shrimp just after sinrise. Also smacks everywhere

I've made a few trips out there, but haven't seen any kings. I saw a few upper slot reds the last time I went, and a big ol' black drum ( I mean HUGE) but it was on the verge of dying already. I don't think the kings have shown up much this year, nothing like the last years where there were people slide lining all over the place and kings making aerial displays. But yea there's at least some Spanish out there.
