Assume you mean the fly end - agree with JoeT, I like the non-slip loop knot
http://www.flyfishga.com/loop.htm. To to be honest, I more often tie a uni-knot, leaving it loose to make a small loop. Of course, when you get a strike, it tightens down so you have to re-tie to restore the loop but it is simple to tie and I can do it in the dark. If you mean for loop to loop leader connections, I like the perfection loop. So tmcpadre, what are your preferences?

I just started using the canoe loop knot out of florida crazy easy and my blind self can actually tie it. using the tarpon loop off shore also with good results. getting old and blind can hurt your catch rate....

I was using the non slip and still use the perfection for leaders but also using the braided leaders with ring more. the ring fails occasionally but it is easy.

I learned the perfection loop because of fly fishing and use it for leader to leader and leader to fly. I now use it when conventional fishing as well. It's too easy and has never failed.

tmcpadre - those are new loop knots to me - very cool. I really like the tarpon loop. Not surprised you like the tarpon loop, given it starts with a double surgeons, doctor!

For Leader to fly line I prefer a perfection loop, but when it comes to tippet to fly I use a tarpon loop.
