This probably broke out of a C.C. news outlet (hopefully) but I'm glad that San Antonio is running it.

Bob Hall is definitely a super landmark as well as a destination spot to both locals and foreigners (those not from the Bluff). Laughing Cool Shocked Laughing

10-4 on stuff like that, the important things. Lights, security, clean/working bathrooms, etc. maybe instead of wasting some of those millions on "landscaping", hire a security guard or two to patrol the area and cut down on theft.

Corpus is overdue for a storm. Their pretty landscaping will be gone in the storm surge.

I wonder what they mean by "controlled access" to the park?

As always with humanity, and even more strongly in bureaucracies: " those who forget their history are bound to repeat it "! Never ceases to make me shake my head........

Crap like " landscaping " and " atmosphere " are fluff and filler deigned to make people believe that the place or the food (etc.) are something special and/or worth the price. Personally, I'll take the opposite and be happy that I saved money and got better quality! The now defunct " Old Mexico " restaurant used to be such a place........ Compleat with the moth riddled, dusty old stuffed Bobcat! Food was great, and CHEAP!!!! Smile
