After nearly two months of weddings, meetings, weddings, visitors, weddings, honey do's, weddings, painting the house, weddings, I am finally back down here on the coast. I don't care what color the water is, if there is weed or no weed, if the winds blows or lays, how high the surf is, I'm just gald to smell the salt air again. Just might get in the kayak in the morning and I don't care if the fish bite(ok I might care a little) or not. I will be happy just casting my rod and watching the wildlife. I don't even care about the crowds heading down.

I hope everyone has a good fourth. I know I will because I am down here!

Spend 6 months away from salt. Last year on 1st outing out took boat to flats off Aransas Pass. Anchored up threw, out fresh dead shrimp. Enjoyed just sitting there. After a bit one of the lines start moving. 6 months vanished. They were hard heads but I was happy & hooked again.
