Figured i would just post my last couple days.

Sunday i took co worker from oklahoma out to bob hall rigs. first time he has ever been in the ocean fishing. I wanted to just run the boat so i decided to troll for some kings. figured they would put up a good fight. Ended up getting out there about noon and left around 3pm. Landed a total of 12 kings in that short amount of time. i could barley put the lines out before double hook ups. we were getting potlicked every hook up, it was quite comical. All fish were released to fight another day. Red and white was color of choice and very effective. Water had large lines and mats of weed with tons of scattered. i put together a little vid for the guy, sorry its pretty crappy but he got a kick out of it.

South bob hall on monday. Weed is still rolling in pretty good. i was able to keep a line out in the 2nd gut. Past that weed was just terrible. after an hour and 10 hard heads i gave up. Still not very enjoyably to fish, but its getting better.

If you don't mind me asking.... What were you trolling with?
We're you trolling around the rigs or the areas between them?

I've never done any trolling. Just curious as I would like to try it.

Red and white bomber. 6" with a lip. also green and pink 9" split back worked well. From what i could tell guys using ribbon fish wernt having much luck

Both. At bob hall ill troll around the last rig once or twice then troll over to the other rigs and repeat.
