There is Carlos Benavidez at the C.C. Flea Market Annaville. He will also pickup your reels if you tell him where you want to meet.

Bayslammer, you're probably looking for a place with a little quicker turnaround but I thought I'd let everyone in on my experience sending my Daiwa Coastal Inshore reel back to Daiwa in California. The reel needed cleaning and lubing and the drag needed some attention. Mailed the reel to them (around 6 or 7 dollars) on the 14th. Got it back on the 24th. You absolutely positively CAN NOT beat the price!! Very Happy Very Happy I've had similar experiences with Shimanos also, but it took a few days longer.

There is a guy off of Tuloso Road in Annaville that repairs rods & reels. He also builds custom rods. His name is John Chaney. His number is 241-5126.

Bob's Custom Tackle in Aransas Pass does a pretty good job of reel cleaning and repair plus his prices are reasonable. Turnaround is usually about four days.

His phone # 361-758-4704
