Late launch, high tides, headed to flooded shorelines.
Paddled to one that had some oyster beds and was about a foot deep.
Had two small blow ups on tops, then landed this 29.5 red. First one for me on a bait-caster....we some times don't get along to well. Texas sleigh ride!
Put on the tag, and left when i heard the thunder, and saw black skies on the horizon.
Fresh Red Fish dinner...........fried of course!

| Nice Red Fish Chuck, they were out in schools yesterday in about a foot of water as well. I was only able to land one but it put up a heck of a fight for lower end slot at 21". TFTR |
