| even though i know we didnt catch the trout in corpus area i hope you dont mind my bragging. we were fishing at galveston fishing pier on friday evening. he was using live mullet and about 8 pm he caught a huge spec. she measured in at 29 inches and about 8 pounds. this is the largest he has caught. we have caught a few at 25 inches and one that was 27. not bad for an toot who only fishes off of piers lol. we are hoping to come down to corpus in the next 2 weeks. we also caught a nice flounder and as usual i caught bait. |
