When SBH about 9 a.m. This morning. Water was fairly rough but no weeds to speak of. Caught whiting and used it for cut bait. Wound up with two reds the first ones of the year. One was an ordinary 25 incher. And check out the pic of this fatso. When 27". Caught them on the backsideoif the 2nd bar on incoming tide.

nice... I have a few "older than all of us" mesquite fence posts that'd do that rascal good enuff for "special" company... Very Happy

Heading down PINS on Saturday....hope the weed is not showing up. It's been a few weeks since I've been out there.

It was fishable today at the North Sticks... some weed catching on lines along with that nasty green moss stuff -- but fishable.

Ranger said weed was a big problem further south but didn't specify how far south.
