I would not mind if you could tell us whether that plastic lip gripper the one fellow is using works. I have thought to pick one up for the bull reds in the surf because they are not a lot of $ and if I drop it I would not be too put out($).

Yup that's the "Fish Grip", They start off around 9 bucks or so Retail. I love mine..I never leave without it. Makes things so much easier
