Went down to visit the sister for a quick day trip. I didn't fish but drove the beach. About a mile south if BHP I see a lady running down the beach and stopping anyone with a truck. She tells me that her husbands truck is stuck.
I tried to pull him out but ended pulling his bumper off. Had to leave to get back to San Antonio...I felt bad leaving him there...

Live and learn, when pulling some one out that is stuck like that you need to tie to the frame. Pretty foolish anyway could have put in at packery.

Where was he from? Did he really think the tide would stay that low ( esp during a full moon phase!)

That makes me sick just looking at it. A few years back we came across a suburban with a tranny leak. The tranny fluid wad dripping on to the sand and burning, when the truck hit the soft stuff and slowed down the flames would get a little high

Hey guys...new to the site. I think I'm preaching to the choir here, but you CANNOT drive that close to the water this time of the year...One rotten patch of seaweed and you're stuck to the frame. It's like a giant suction cup when you're that stuck and in the water...

On another note, anyone been down the PINS lately? I was curious if there is any fishable water down there yet...
