I know this is a fishing board but I thought I'd share this with all the tuff ol fishermen out there. I have been raising these 2 for a few weeks now. Never thought they would make as they usually don't when so small. One had it's leg almost chewed in half. Me and the wife doctored it and it looks great. The one in the foreground was brought to me via Jeff Wolda. They are now eating alot and seem to be just fine. When I got them they would actually fit in the palm of your hand. They like cilantro, spinach, carrots, crushed up nuts and fruit, cilantro seems to be a favorite. Probably one of the most harmless animals on Earth, or atleast I like to think so.

But that's seriously awesome. I've taken a few in myself when ever we cut our hay fields, just can't watch them die that way.

I prefer cilantro also. Smart rabbits, or at least with good taste. Very Happy

YUMMMMmmmmmmmm. If you tire of them, then I know of a safe and sheltered freezer to store them! Wink

[I think I tossed the last of our feed for this year, but I will double-check to see if we have any still in the garage, in case you want it]. Good for you to take them on.

Nope. . .

The last of the 50 lb bag of feed went into the compost pile after the Blue Ribbon Sale. But, I do have some Timothy Hay (not a whole bunch), if you want it.

I'm thinking a pot of white beans, with some tasso, and 'dem rabbits. Laughing I know it ain't fried, but it's pretty good!.

Ha ha, you know I expected alot of "eat the rabbit responces" when I posted pics of bunnies on a fishing board. Too funny. Thanks for the feed offer but I'm doing good. Very Happy

Always a great feeling when rescuing a fury friend. Last year I went into a 16' elevator pit to rescue a baby jack rabbit. Made my day.
