I need my AC serviced at our island condo. Its not cooling below 78. The unit is less than 10 years old, so it should be repairable. May just need servicing.

Any body got any recommendations? Want it fixed right, but don't want to get ripped off or pay and arm and a leg.

10 years on the island is a long time.

Look at the outside coils and see if the fins are falling apart. have the inside coils cleaned if the outside is still viable.

Thanks for the replies. I got a referral from a freind and called a guy named Tom Carroll. He came out and found the problem and fixed it plus serviced it for $75.
