I am gonna take my kids ages 6 & 8 fishing for a couple of hours tomorrow from 10-noon...my excuse to run the motor on the new boat a little. Anybody seen or heard any schools of drum south of the JFK? Would really like to put them on a few fish and I don't normally fish this time of year.

I would either anchor up in the hole in the humble just north of the JFK or in the humble south of JFK out of casting distance from the piers to the south of the piers! Fish bites tipped with shrimp.....

Agree with bama... If there are any drum around they will probably be in that area...

Hope so...Thanks for the tips. I thought about cruising over to the power line channel just north of there. If we find some I will be sure to post a report.
