Good morning guys,
Took my daughter for a quick trip to PINS yesterday for some fishing and shell hunting.
Went to the 21MM first...but weed was terrible there...so went back to about the 16MM and there was still some weed...but manageable.
Water was a bit chilly but the sun was great. We used dead shrimp from the Bait Bucket and fish bites.
Caught some whiteys and no hard heads. We also caught these 2 nice big uglies.....mine was 29" and my daughters was 36"..and very heavy.
Fished for about 3 hours...turned out to be a great trip.

Nice pics and fish. Congrats to your daughter on getting the better of you.
Mary and I hit SBH yesterday. Weeds were more than I wanted to deal with. 10 minutes, 1 whiting (given to my lab, kokopelli) and spent the next hour shelling. Lots of nice shells coming in. |

Yea....they were on the 1st gut....I was using my pier rods since the weeds were out.
And Zia....we found some very nice and unusual shells...never seen some of them before....well...only in stores...so that was cool.
