ARTIC COLD FRONT due this morning around 11am. Currently the winds are southerly at 10 mph. Skies are clear the temp is 58 degs. the humidity is 92% and the barometric pressure is 29.83. We have had 0 rain in the past 24 hrs. As for the cold front winds will be gusting upwards of 40 mph by tonight. Small craft advisories are up. No worries here because I'm staying on dry land today. Saturn is in the ESE sky about 25-30 degs up from the horizon. Who knows that may be a good sign for fishing Question Very Happy

Forecasts are calling for 36 degs by Monday morning here on the coast. That's cold for us flatlanders.

0630 update. Looking out my backdoor at the Backyard the winds have laid from 10 mph to zero and the lagoon has slicked off for a moment. The calm before the front. The last wind was from due south looking at my wind vane.
I'm also watching the clouds up to the north northeast rising above the horizon.

Nebraska would be like living inside of a large freezer right now. infact I don't think my freezer will get that low. Shocked

I'm mighty glad to be living in South Texas & on the coast. Beats the heck out of Nebraska. This is for all of you, to remember, how this day began.

I don't see it this morning, but I've seen it enough to know what you're talking about. Shocked Laughing

Winds gusting to 35 from the north, temp 27 and expecting 15 in the morning. I don't mind the temps so bad, it's these damn winds that wear me out. Evil or Very Mad

The front just got to Victoria minutes ago! Im sitting in a stand and felt it happen. Got dead still for about 10 minutes then you felt that north breeze kick up. It dropped the temps quit a bit and we now have a steady north wind! Cool thing was a kind of grey haze/fog that came with it. No rain or real clouds but just ...... a greyness! It passed on by within minutes and we back to mostly blue skys and cooler! The deer must have known it was coming. I had been watching 7 or 8 all morning and minutes before the front hit they all left. I love this stuff!!!!! Very Happy

BRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!! Luckily I brought a jacket with me! The temp drop and wind sure cooled things off! All the critters seem to have shut down for now. No birds, deer, or anything moving now. We are also back to grey skies......
