Took my SGT40H apart for the first time and can't seem to find any video's or pictures of it getting broken down. When I took it apart, the Anti-reverse pawl popped out and I'm thinking I knw where it goes, but not 100% sure. I put it back together and its not spinning. As if its locked up. So I'm not sure where I went wrong. Any help or pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yea that's the same schematic I'm using. I see it in there, item #32, but doesn't show exactly where it goes. Thanks for the help JayM5209. Let mw give it another shot, see if I can get it to spin.

Howdy!

Based on the diagram, it looks like the anti-reverse pawl (#32) should be on the opposite side of the Drive Shaft Retainer (#25). In the picture you posted you have the anti-reverse pawl next to the round edge of Drive Shaft Retainer. Is there a something on the opposite side of the drive shaft and near the flat edge of Drive Shaft Retainer (with the three retainer screws) to mount the anti-reverse pawl.

I copied the schematic and pasted it in excel. Then I rotated the image to reflect the orientation of your reel in the picture you took. Doing that may help you troubleshoot the problem.
