You might want to put the word out on 2 Cool Fishing so the folks towards the North and other points can be on the lookout. Ditto for Texas Kayak Fisherman.
Hope you get it back in decent shape.

Sad! Hope your parents had boat or property insurance on it!

I would guess someone in the surrounding area knew of the boat and perhaps worked with others to steal the boat. Hopefully the law catches the bastages!

Some people think that what other people have they got for free therefore it won't hurt if I take it from them. Lousey attitude and I feel sad for your parents. Hope the guys are caught and have to pay your folks for their loss.

According to the posts on 2Cool the boat was recovered, albeit(sp?) stripped down and somewhat with a look to be burned up front deck. Someone found in out on N. Padre according to that site.

Backtrack!!! Who had knowledge of your purchase? Who helped make-ready your boat to leave the dealer, and who know that your boat was without Texas registration, and who knew the boat's destination? Based on experience, sounds like an "inside job" to me. Been there, investigated there, and found culprits there. Don' overlook anything, and don't be deceived by friendly personalities.

So sorry to hear that. It's one thing to find the beautiful boat missing, and another downer to finally find the boat again in a worthless condition. My heart goes out to you and your parents. I hope they have insurance for the replacement and the law catches the culprits that did this horrible thing!!! They are truely Grinches!!!
