It's been a while since I have logged in and actually posted anything on here (mostly because a lack of anything to report on) but I figure I would share this. Hadn't had too many chances to get out this year and the times that I have gotten out have produced less than ideal results. Had some free time last night so I loaded up and headed out for a last minute wade right at sunset. Used some new knowledge that I recently learned and actually used Google Earth to check out an area that I have fished my whole life. Found an area that I have always overlooked where a gut leads onto a flat and hugs the shoreline. Fished the drop off with gulps and immediately was met with hookups. Released a few undersized and kept a few to fry up. In the water right before 6 and out by 7 and left them biting. Bite was really aggressive.

Nice catch! If you think Google earth is a good tool, try bing maps and zoom in all the way. You can get different views on Aerial and Birds eye views that can be very detailed.
