What's up fellas? Since its Christmas I'm gonna include our other halves in this post. I would like to hear what the light of our lives are fishing with, but that's even if they fish. I knew sometimes fishing is how they get us out the house. lol

Mine loves topwaters spook jr's but her go to is a gold spoon. I get tired so I grab a cold one and watch the bottom drift by. She is a trooper probably slings half again more casts than I do! But hey she cleans the fish and boat too so all is well!

My wife fishes with a custom rain shadow rod made by trailer park customs and a 240x U.S reel, she bird hunts with a browning sliver hunter II, deer hunts with a remington safari BDL .270 and to top it all off.....SHE DRINKS COORS ORIGINAL!!! Now thats a true story.

now i outfish my hubby cause unlike him i dont mind catching anything lol. he usualy like reds specks flounder black drum. i usually wind up with a few reds or specks along with everything else i hook. i also know a 70 yr old asian woman in galveston that will outfish any man woman and child. last week when it was barely 40 and wind hollering she was out on the pier all by herself hauling up keeper reds. the pier posted one pic of her. i am hibernating now waiting for spring except for a christmas trip to florida may try there for a day.

Hi EKSDA,

What are some of the 70 year old Asian woman's tricks or techniques that you've seen? Does she put in more time at the pier or does she fish differently than others?
