Sup fellas?

Hit the sand on low tide Tuesday morning and was greeted with calm conditions but dirty water out to the 3rd bar so I cruised down south looking for better water. Driving was excellent if you couldn't tell...

We found good water and set up camp and started catching bull whiting left and right but only one pompano which got used for bait.

No reds all day, and only one pomp. Got shark baits rigged and yakked them out 30 minutes before dark. Not long and we get a run and there's a shark breaking the water!!! Few minutes later we get a fat blacktip on the sand that's probably full of pups. Tagged her and she swam off strong once she started going the right direction.

Good way to start the evening... However things remained quiet until the morning when something kept bumping my 50w...

Ended up reeling in a decent bull that was hella sluggish.

The young pup was really confused as to what was going on...

After that we packed up and rolled off the beach at low tide, enjoying the creepy fog and serenity of the beach.

Had a blast down there! Wish I could've stayed longer until right before the front blew in but oh well.... I got my fix for now, but am already looking forward to cruising down there again in a few weeks.

Cool report Cody, thanks for sharing. I wish I could go and catch me a few Bull whiting, from the Pics I see you guys had a great time.
