Currently at my house winds are 11 mph NE, Skies are cloudy ,the humidity down at 76%, barometer is up at 30.14, the temp. outside is 66 degs. winds in Baffin are 11 with gusts to 16mph, forecasts are calling for winds to be in the 9-12mph range. Headed out in few with Capt. Hook.

We are going to give it another go today. We ended up fishing the Backyard (close in with a drift sock) late yesterday morning when the weather cleared a bit. One slot red and 4 keeper trout 15-19" range.

This is 2 reports rolled into 1. I fished the same area today that I fished yesterday. Yesterday we fished using plastics . The winds were high and it was very choppy and I didn't have real experienced guests but they did good. However I knew this spot was holding more fish.

Well today Veteran's Day me and Capt. Hook headed out and I knew were I was going to fish. Hook was armed with live shrimp and I had my trusty pumpkinseed bull minnow. Live shrimp caught more fish but IMS caught the biggest fish. All the fish were solid and in the 18inch range and fat and full of shrimp. We had 3 reds and 20 nice trout by 10:30. We had 18 trout in the box and our last cast ended up in a double hook up to finish off the morning. We set up on 1 long drift by the spoil islands along the ICW and most of the fish were caught in the openings between the spoils. What a great Monday. Sorry for the quickie report but IMS is tired. Mrs. IMS had to work today so I'm gonna clean up real quick and fix dinner and set the table. Get ready for the cold front...... Very Happy
