The host of the Addictive Fishing show Captain Blair Wiggins will be in Corpus this weekend for the chance to meet him at the dicks sporting goods store. Also if you purchase one of the Flats blue rods you receive a free sabalos spinning or baitcast reel. Wish i lived in corpus or ill would totally be there!

For those of you that do not know what show im talking about, go to youtube, search addictive fishing and enjoy the episodes, im sure you would be hooked from the get go! Wink

I don't need a new rod right now but how good of a deal is this that you speak of that is happening on Saturday?

The rod itself is $99 come in different lengths, 7'2 7'6 7'8 8'2 i could be wrong but the reel that they are throwing in for free is about $70 or $80 if i remember correctly.

I've watched the show for a while now and have really been thinking about getting the 7'6" conventional rod. He puts a hell of a bend on some of those rods!

I've been watching Addictive Fishing for a few years now, and Capt. Blair Wiggins is a very entertaining host. Puts out a lot of good info. If you get a chance go out and meet him.

Ask Blair if he still eats reds when he's prefishing a tournament. In the 2003 Port A Redfish Cup, he was on some pretty good fish and kept a few to eat one evening. He had a hard time catching any during the tournament. We teased him pretty good.
