Haha we use to do this with a potatoe gun. The trick was to split the potatoe and carve a hole in the center so it breaks apart releasing your weight.

Saw guys do the same thing with giant sling shots up in Oregon on the Columbia River. That could take the line right off a real and they did not have to freeze bait.

The guys that fish for big (real big) cats on thye lower Arkansas and down the Mississippi use RC boats to get thier baits into the OL areas below the dams and spill ways. You could use one of those quad helos and drop the bait... Hmmmmmm servo's, RC com, activator switchs; i see hours in the garage playing with my tools, soildering irons and toys. Anyone with a RC helo that has about 5 lbs of lift want to donate it to a worthy cause?

Imagine flinging that aerodynamic torpedo with your rod. That alone should increase anybody's distance.

If those are too big, make smaller popsicles to match the capacity of your rod.

Think about it.....

DO NOT...........I repeat.............DO NOT let my wife see this. With her short temper, I can't imagine the multiple uses she would have for this thing. All of them bad for me.

Awesome trick.
