Which jetty do you guys recommend to go catch some good fish during middle of November? Planning on taking the ole lady out there and putting her on a couple of fish. Any suggestions for tactics, bait, rigs? I appreciate the feedback! |

North Jetty has my vote if she gets tired of fishing she can go back to Port A and do some shopping and grab a bite to eat. She will like the Jetty boat ride and you can get live shrimp right there. Rent a jetty cart from the wharf and bring enough stuff to make her comfortable. Fish the tides.
I have an old post on how to fish the north.

Just spent the night on the Port A North Jetty. Beach was in bad shape. A lot of crap washed in. The fishing was good. Plenty of Smacks and Mullet. Great weather and a great time. 2 reds and a tarpon on the rocks. Fun! _________________ Kevin

That depends on the day and what you plan to fish for. I would bring, gulps, shrimp, cast-net, beer and lures. Try them all. Fish both sides so bring several rods. _________________ Kevin

What rig and bait you use for the tarpon? |
