| If the insurance company gives you problems give me a call. I make my living dealing with them every single day. |

Thanks for every ones support. We are putting a list together for the insurance claim but it is hard to remember what you have purchased over the last 10 years. We thought we were about done buying things for trips to the PINS. It will take a little while but we think we will be able to get enough of what we need to return next spring. We will make it to sharkaton. Good luck to every one there. _________________ Life is good on the beach. |

it's bad enough to have had the fire. Now my insurance company will only pay 10% of my renters insurance because it was not at my house. we have been with them for over 20 years and only claimed one time. I am in the wrong business. _________________ Life is good on the beach. |

| Did you tell them when you signed up for the insurance that it was for a storage locker? |

| I am in the self storage industry. What I call tell you in regard to insurance coverage is that generally tenants who purchase insurance at point of rental are covered in the amounts usually ranging from $1500-$3000. Having said that I would examine any homeowners or renters policies that you currently have for coverage on the stored goods (ie rods, tackle, personal items, etc) Regarding the RV I would look into the coverage that you have on it in specific. Most homeowners policies do cover goods stored off site. Generally there is a deductible. I personally have seen USAA and Allstate cover these types of situations. Also the fire inspector will determine the cause and point of origin. At that point you have civil recourse against the tenant that actually started the fire. Rest assured your insurance carrier will pursue that angle for you. Sorry for the loss |

10%? That's practically nothing.
Remind me to never buy a policy for anything from them. _________________ JJ |
