With this crazy weather we have been having lately you would think that the flounder would be hiding out deep, especially with the moon phases we have had the last two nights. But NOOOO, they are moving up into the shallows just like they should be this time of year. We had about a 4lb average with a couple 1.5's mixed in as well. Not bad for about a 200 yard stretch of floundering !!!

Good job. I have been looking everywhere for those flat suckers with little success. Of course I'm land locked though. I will definitely book a trip with you as soon as your licensed or maybe We can do a pay for fuel and food trip. Lemme know.

I gave it a shot in the bay last night and only saw 1 small flounder and 3 small stingray. I didn't see any other beds either. The water in the bay has been very murky this entire summer, and the population seems a lot less than years past. I hope this isn't a trend.

It's actually been a lot better fishing for me this year than last. The flounder are already Pre-Run fish meaning that I am gettin fish that are 6lbs +. As for the super high tides due to hurricanes and tropical storms the last few weeks have been not as well. I am still getting limits of flounder with the people I take out but its taking a lil longer than it usual does. But that will all change by the middle of next week, as we will be returning to normal tides once again.
