Wind and Wave at SPID and Laguna Shores! It's a big yellow building... Can't miss it! They will let u get in them and every couple of months they have "demo days" where u can take them out in the water! They also rent them...

Wind and Wave will usually let you demo the yaks on any day, they have a good friendly group of people working there.

Sometimes Dean Thomas has some demo/used kayaks for sale at his shop in Aransas Pass... Slow Ride Guide, et. al. Shop on main drag heading towards Ingleside.

Thank you to all that responded!! "Went to Wind N Wave this morning and got to talk to both Nathan and his dad, Frank. Got tons of information from them. Didn't try any out but they did give me a good idea which ones would be for me and my needs. Will try them out come the 29th of this month when they have their Demo days on the island just across the bridge!!
Tyler, I told them you sent me and they were soooooo accommodating!
Thank You again.

Yak Shack in Portland. Sharkathon sponsors. My wife is still paddling around her Malibu from them from last year and the two coozies that were in it are the first ones we grab for. Smile

I don't think the Yack Shack is still doing business anymore in selling of Kayaks. I called last month about buying a kayak and they were shutting down by the end of the month and going to a mobile rental business. Guess their location wasn't the best for sales although it was the best for launching a kayak.
