How deep are your pockets? I think Van Staal is still made in Tulsa. Bradly Farm and Machine milled the parts in Ga and they are/were put together at the Zero Bomb Co ( Zebco ) plant in Tulsa.

That was 8-9 years ago so I could be wrong.

If you ever need a conventional reel for the gulf, look no further than Avet. Awesome reels, good price, and made in the USA. I just got an SX and it is an impressive little reel. If I manage to mess up bearings or whatever, I send it in with twenty bucks and they will fix whatever is wrong with it! Fishing from a kayak is a sloppy business, and I can see using that promise in the future.

I wish they made spinning reels, I would buy one.

If they don't mean it they shouldn't say it. I'm sure I will have personal experience in this area within a few years. Very Happy

I presume Accurates are made in the USA, but that is some high end pricy stuff. Sort of depends on how patriotic your bank account is.

Those are big reels. Offshore boat reels. I dont think anyone makes 100% USA 2000-3000 series lightweight inshore reels like a Stradic.
Van Staals sure are purdy!

The machine work is top notch.
