Watch your yeti ice chests!!!! Mine was stolen in the parking lot of academy while 2 ccpd cops were in the lot. Dont waste your money on the $30 cable lock these thieves have a bolt cutter. Better off leaving your ice chest at home or putting it inside your vehicle.

Sooner or later people will learn to no use those poo poo cables and move up to 3/8 chain with a long shank high security lock.

You need to use titanium cable, bolt cutters will not cut through them. If you use steel use a thicker zirconium. The steel has to harder than the bolt cutter jaws. There are alot of locks out there that will snap a bolt cutter jaws. There are also alot of manufactured cables that are bolt cutter proof. However they are only as good as the devise that holds them such as a hasp. What good is a high dollar lock if the hasp is cheap steel. On the flipside of that most crooks are idiots and in a hurry and don't think about cutting through the hasp. Also most small bolt cutters open only so wide. Just food for thought. Also add Boron locks to that.

Found out the hard way that Yeti's are a hot item. And it doesn't take the thief long to get off with it.

IMS, where is the best place to get titanium cable? Also, do you know where to get boron locks and the best brand?

Y'all just about sound like Rod And Roll and myself. One day you will get tired of the thievery and do something about it. If they are brazen enough to steal with 2 CCPD officers in the parking lot then maybe CCPD is in on the take - could be!!!

Sucks that we have to be on guard while at rest or at play.

And if I had a dollar for every time someone was going to set up the thieves or throw a surf weight at a potlicker I could buy my new boat. Lol

I had a potlicker in kates 2 weeks ago pull up in the middle of the hole about 10 yards off my bow as im drifting with my sock out. Hes done it to me several times, but this time it was rediculous. Me and my buddy started talking to eachother about what a douschebag he was. He heard us talking, then says, "Im sorry, I didnt think I would drift into you". I said, " Then why the F did you pull up next to me with the whole place wide open!!"

Seriously man, come on! 10 yards!!! Get a life.

That's what I was thinking. Sorry you got jacked, but yet another reason not to but a cooler that I can replace ten times with Igloos that no one wants to steal.
