Ill be down heading down in the morning and staying Saturday night , the surf is awesome right now , forecast says it might pick up a little but what do they know , as far as weed goes I'm just praying it doesn't stretch the length of the beach _________________

I went down to the 50MM on Wednesday. The weed seemed to have moved a little further south compared to the FOP report from Tuesday. There was too much weed for long lines until the upper 20's. Fishbites/shrimp only caught hardheads in the 30's with smallish whiting in the 40's. There were pony mullet in water that were just hanging out in the 30's and 40's. I found a few finger mullet in the wade gut close to the 50. Live mullet, cut mullet, cut whiting and skipjack only produced 2 bonnetheads and more skipjacks for me. On spoons I caught small jacks in the 40's with a few whiting. No reds or trout for me. Most of the people I talked with did not have anything to speak of. Wednesday was the morning of the full moon so I blame the moon for the slow action |

| started at the 27 ran lines out for the night only to have them weeded out, moved to the 45 hoping to find bait couple small jacks and hardheads, left and hit the jetties caught a limit of trout and called it a day if your looking to run long lines head for the fifties beach driving is fair with only a few places you have to use 4x4,weed does seem to be stretching farther south as days go by good luck |
