I have 2 - 12v 1000watt Halogen lights that need to be welded onto the front of my flounder boat today. All I need is someone to come over and help me fab up 2 brackets to weld onto my boat and then install lights. I already have some unistrut and other materials on hand. Need to get this done today, so please PM me ASAP.
Thanks in advance _________________ Come out & gig some flounder with Straight to The Point Guide Service!! http://floundergiggin.com/ for more info

How are they going to weld it at your house? Do you have an aluminum welding rig or aluminum mig ? Thats pretty much something you have to take somewhere. Not everyone has an aluminum rig on the back of their truck, steel yes, aluminum no. Just saying bro. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

yes IMS, my boat is already hooked up to my truck and waiting on a phone call from a welder... I need to get this done today, are you available to help me out ?? I hear that you are one of the best welders around these parts. I can send you some pics of the brackets that I have in mind. I have talked with all of my commercial flounder buddies and they all say the same thing. 2" bracket is the way to go. If you get a min go check out sonnysmarinepoc.com and look at the flounder boats this guy builds. I already talked with Sonny and that's the only way to go. _________________ Come out & gig some flounder with Straight to The Point Guide Service!! http://floundergiggin.com/ for more info

I would love to help you out today but I'm in a 9 line bind . Tomorrow I have eye exams and that's going to ruin my day with eyes being dilated.
Those are very simple brackets. Seems like Bluestreak would zap em on there for a good price but I can't speak for them. You just caught me at a bad time for work sir. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Thanks Paris, but I went ahead and fabricated up a temp job for the weekend. I might take you up on your offer though as I will definitely be gettin the permanent brackets welded on probably on Monday. I will give you a call later on this evening to discuss this small project.
Here's a pic of what I fab'd up yesterday evening, Note: I still have to finish running my wires to the battery, angle them in the position I desire when I get out on the water, and change up a setting on my alternator, but the temp job is almost completed
Here's a pic
