Just got in from SA. Hit the beach for 15 mins and the storm is about on top of me.

Yea me too now sitting at fish pass and its coming real good. Where your at in port a? Its not the rain its the damn lighting. Don't like holding a lighting rod while trying to fish.

We're under a severe thunderstorm warning....dangerous lightening, very high winds, possible hail....moving in from north...then a break, then another line of storms coming this way ...currently passing through Austin. Hope you all find some safe shelter. At least no mention of tornadoes yet.

Severe thunderstorm warning just cancelled...but still plenty of rain, wind, lightening.....from radar, it looks like the strongest storms are currently passing thru Port A/Padre Island....all moving south. Good news is that the storms are moving fast; bad news is that it looks like there might be just a short break before the next line of storms hit. All seem to be coming from north and moving south.

I'm down by Bob Hall. Was hoping the surf was fishable. I got about 15 cast in and my rod splintered about a foot from the tip. Of course it's the one time I leave an extra rod at home. Guess I'm going to sit at academy and hopefully they'll exchange it out....

Sorry to hear weather is clearing a bit over here.fished or at south packery Friday ugly water few nice trout caught right before sundown on the north side.

having coffee right now in PA and it is still raining. I had to move my boat early so it would drain because it came down so hard earlier . Nice rain

Still drizzling in port a but is now clearing. Channel looks decent but the surf is still like chocolate milk out to 400 yards
