 Eight hours to go for a much needed 5 day weekend from ball and chain. The place where rules are made up on the spot, and new ones everyday, but hey it's the Government. Looking foward to spending some time with my buds. I will be fishing Thursday, and Friday. Was thinking about camping on PINS but those plans changed too. So I'm going to grind it here and see what I can put in the box. I'm going to stay local and stay out of others backyards. Saturday will be wife day and then I'm back on the boat. I will post up moring coffee reports while I'm off. IMS

Nice IMS! Ill be down Friday night and be in the neighborhood off Laguna Shores Rd staying with a friend who now has his place all fixed up (thanks to good friends that worked hard helping him). Going to try the shoreline from SPID down towards his house near the fish shack! Could you suggest any spots that might be better than others. I will be either wade fishing or kayaking. Enjoy the days off and good luck!!! I'll be looking for the reports.
I'm doing a shrimp/crab boil for the father in laws 75 birthday party on Saturday. Then sunday/monday heading to my parents lake house on Lake Livingston to chase some catfish and white bass. The following weekend though is gonna be a good one!!! I'm gonna spend friday afternoon and night on PINS and fish all day Saturday. Then do the offshore trip with the folks from here! I'm soooo looking forward to it!!! |

We have the same exact plan.
I know PINS probably gets busier on Memorial Day weekend but does it get super busy past the 4wd sign? We were hoping to not have to go too far down island. This will be our first excursion south of North Beach.

Good Idea I could just tie BamBam to the cooler, come back and find fingers in the bed of the truck. He won't eat them, he just bites them off.

A toad is singing. Saw my first fireflies of the season. Expect my first ripe tomatoes for the weekend. Praised God for being to enjoy such a pleasant evening.
