Anyone seen any in the flats recently? Looking to catch a few for shark bait and wondering if anyone had a spot they had seen them.

two or three swam right infront of me while i was standing on the west bank under the bridge right before you get on to the island. We were just passing time and I was watching the hermit crabs along the concrete and three big rays just went cruising by. I guess they are in the shallows looking for supper!

They Are Stupid Thick In The Oso. I Saw Dozens Of Them My Last Couple Trips Out There Last Week

That's awesome! Even closer to home than the other spots. Where about in the oso were you seeing them? Shallow? Deep? University shot line? Thanks for the tip!

i got SWARMED in Oso last week on the base shoreline close to the pier

They Were Very Thick On The Flat In Front Of The Campus. About 2Ft Of Water. But They Were Just About EveryWhere I Paddled.

1-2 feet of water everywhere i have been has had TONS of rays...not sure of species but they are rays.

Too bad I didn't see this yesterday, I caught one yesterday on a shrimp tail! Those suckers pull out some line! I did get it into boat. Been seeing a lot of schools of them in front of the power plant.

i could netted a hundred today they where with in two feet of my boat at shamrock. what do they eat i never caught one

I have seen them hit gulps and other lures and saw a huge one at BHP hit a big chunk of whiting. Pretty awesome fight. I'm sure shrimp would work too.
