I went to Port A couple weeks ago and saw couple people with bright green HID Lights that connected to there car batteries. Was wondering if anyone knows where I can get them from and price range. I've looked online but no luck.

Nice web site but this person was on the side of Charlie's pastour pier. Kind of like a drop light but with no loud generator noise. He had it on top of his truck nice n quiet just connected to his battery. Earlier that day I had saw someone else with it but at the Packery. He had said his friend had made it for him though, and all you do is connect it to your battery and it will run for a while.

Go to Ebay and do a search for high intensity green led lights. They come in strings that are 12 volt. Like these:

X 10 on Supernova.
Dez Davis (owner) makes a "drop light" with 290 green LED's. You connect it to your boat battery and it will stay lit all night without draining your battery. If fishing off of a pier, jetty or the bank, I use a battery that is used for deer feeders or electric gates.
A couple months ago, we had a power outage that lasted for several
hours into the night. I got my 2 drop lights, hooked them up to the small battery (mentioned above) and we had instant light.
The drop light comes with an 18 foot cord but he will put whatever length cord you want. The lights are completely submersible and Dez stands behind his product.

Thanks guys and rwnitro think you hit it on the dot with the two drop lights you mentioned. Going to have to get in contact with Dez Davis.

If you don't already have it, the phone number for Dez is 512-947-1552.
I have 60' cords on my lights, you can set them out and then back away from them and cast towards them. If you have a dock with an electrical outllet, he can put a different type cord on them so you can just plug it in.
