I'm now an official weather station,
Station name...Corpus Christi 4.0 S
Station # TX-NU-56
I will be meeting with a meterologist when they bring me an official rain guage. I soom be setting up a wireless station. The Laguna Shores rd. coffee report will have a little more meaning. I think it's pretty cool. Thanks FCO. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Glad I could help feed a passion. Someday, I'll have to get up with you and fish a little. I'm a 100% Disabled Vet and getting down to CC is a hit and miss thing - usually a miss. I have had 3 trips over the last 4-5 years set up with Billy to go down PINS and all three times storms messed us up - the last time with a guy from California who was paying the expenses - that one hurt. I can however look back with satisfaction that I helped convince Billy to finally put in for his VA Disability. He had to be convinced that it was OWED to him for his service - give me a break - he is owed more than $$$ for his service - both then and now.
As my disabilities get worse and worse, I have taken up Ham Radio and weather to take up some of the slack the lack of fishing time has caused. I am now known in some circles as N5BAA. |

I would definitely be interested in comparing rain gauge results. _________________

| Chef Lefty - you too can go to the COCORAHS Site and sign up to be a COCORAHS reporting station. The rain gauge that IMS will get via COCORAHS is one that will gather up to 11 inches of rain yet records the inches of rain accurate to 1 /100 of an inch. You can find COCORAHS at www.cocorahs.org. It's worth signing up for. |

A pass-through rain gauge may be worth looking into, as well. Congrats on the weather station. You should see about getting it on Weather Underground as well. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

Go to the website and click on the Texas map and then on Nueces county and then you should see all of the reports as dots with rainfall amounts. Click on them until you find out which matches his facility number. Remember it for next time.
Even better yet - why not become a reporting station yourself?? |
