| Looked like Albert's guys fishing in between A&M beach and the base out in CC bay. They had the Avet 80's out and I was wondering how often people have caught sharks out of there. I know there is a channel runs through just curious if it holds a lot of fish/sharks. i figured there would be sharks towards Port A but over by A&M? |

| When Oso Pier used to be Oso Pier, they had a bunch of pictures of some very large sharks that were caught off of that pier. |

| Why wouldn't there be sharks in the bay, I have talked to several people in Nueces bay that have spotted some larger sharks in the canals there. They had to get there some how CC bay is a logical path |

My uncle used to take us flying all over the bay and intracoastal back in the 70's. There are LOTS of BIG sharks and manta rays in the bay. Esp over by Cole Park.
We used to catch small sand sharks off of the L-head. |

ive seen quite a few sharks in Oso while wading. Mainly black tip, and a few bulls. Never been huge, but big enough to not get too close. _________________ A woman once told her husband to tie her up and he could do anything he wanted, so he tied her up and went fishing! |

now thats something i would like to see. it seems this time every year people start asking about sharks in the bay. i wonder if it has anything to do with the higher tides, that people see them more _________________ If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am. |

Bulls use bays and estuaries as nurseries. In fact one of the guys here or on Teamoso caught a bull pup in the Oso. I would not be surprised if mama was in CC Bay. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

| Remember the large female Mako that washed up on the beach at TAMU-CC a couple of years ago. Especially with Packery open, you know that there are sharks in CC and Oso Bays. |

about a year and a half ago I was wading at the Portland cause way and had been out about 30 min and landed a decent sized drum around 18 inches well put her on the stringer and continued to fish and a short time later was almost pulled off my feet by a sudden and power jerk on my stringer!!!!! when I brought it in Shure enough fish was GONE and several punctures on my bait bucket!!!! so after I pooped my pants I grabbed my bait knife and prayed as I walked back in as fast and with out making to much noise as possible so yup they're r defiantly sharks out there and maybe about 10 months ago I was walking back in from the same spot and had a "bump" on m y thigh and then literally "something" swam rite through my legs big enough and powerful enough that I was unable to close my legs!!!! |
