| has any one been fishin from a pontoon boat in or around for bay and what there good for im going to buy one from a freind and just looking for info one were to fish at or what if would be good for |

Only been in one once on a lake. Go for it, just stay in channels until you learn the area. Have fun, be careful and good luck!  |

| Depends upon the configuration of the Pontoon boat. I use to have one that we kept at Lake Travis that had a cabin (kinda like a small house boat). Let's just say it was like trying to sail a kite on the water as it picked up every bit of wind out there. Needless to say it was not used much in Saltwater. I would thik that if the boat you are talking about is 'open' and only has bench seats, etc. that It would be fine. |
