You can call 3619498175. That should give you beach conditions and 24 hr weather forecast that I believe is updated daily at 9am. Good luck! Was about to head out myself until I saw the winds.

also Google is your friend--find # to guard shack--or ranger station there--and they will tell you!
sorry, I could not find the web page that shows there (beach) sign--
but that recorder # will give you some info on weed, ect--
