dont get much time to hunt outselves, so we took advantage of a off weekend.
headed to my tio's ranch near falls city and wouldnt you know, the birds wanted to play a little.
if it wasn't for the pesky fireants, we would have had a double tag out. _________________ Trophy whitetail and exotic hunts on some of the finest ranches Texas has to offer, www.mcoutfitterstexas.com

Thanks for the report. I have never shot one. Our lease in Pearsall had them but not where my stand was. I will definitely have put that on the bucket list. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

Spring turkey hunting is a great time. You'll love it! Just be careful with your movements. Their is always a turkey that you don't see! |

Great job Obsessed! Looks like the gobblers are active where you were at. Nice beards too. Had me a Te Amo cigar but did not get to smoke it since there was no victory dance. Lol. Maybe in a couple more weeks. _________________ wishin i was fishin! |

they were active, but not "hot"....they would answer maybe once or twice, then go silent, then just show up....they didn't pay much attention to the decoys either, we just happened to get in between their travel back to their roost. _________________ Trophy whitetail and exotic hunts on some of the finest ranches Texas has to offer, www.mcoutfitterstexas.com
